The composition, the technical skill, the color palette, the photorealistic aspect a
nd the style of Jonathan Delachaux constitute a unique ensemble, mark of a
talented painter. However, on first glance his work appears to the spectator to be
subject-derivative, because the same subjects are represented on each canvas, riveting
repetition : three puppets, three fictive persons : Naïma Bourquin, Johan Wacquez,
and Vassili Lavandier.

SEB PATANE
Seb Patane creates pared-down tableaux made up of drawings and adapted found imagery and objects, as well as sound and live performance. Resurrecting material that contains a particular potency for him, Patane is drawn to ideas of tribalism, urban mythology and altered states. His sources have included staged Victorian portrait photographs, 1980s avant-garde German band DAF (Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft) and occultist mountaineer Aleister Crowley.
Through a process of filtering and simple interventions – masking eyes, obliterating faces with an excess of sticky biro ink – Patane bleeds images of specificity leaving a residue of permenace

The name of the collection derives from a joyful moment of non-sense: how to define a maximum of summer nakedness in order to feel cool on hot days.
The collection is mainly composed of light linen, cotton and silk fabrics in mat colours that should protect from intense sun except of a bright geranium red that occurs incidentally.
BLESS keypieces of this season are the Bustallrounder, the Heaven&Hell bag, Metalfringeglasses, Kniff, Puffsandals, the "Drieks" vest and the classic N°16 Eram Shoes in a high and striped version, as well as the Lakebedsheets, a new pair of bedsheets with a joyful summer lake scene printed on it.
